Idina Menzel performing 'Frozen' song at the Oscars is the best news of the day
Good news, "Frozen" fans: Idina Menzel is performing the movie's hit song "Let It Go" at the Academy Awards.
The news comes after she and co-stars Kristen Bell and Josh Gad performed songs from the "Frozen" soundtrack at a cabaret at the Vibrato in Bel Air, Calif. The reaction to those performances was over the moon, so those who were thrilled about that will be similarly excited that Menzel will perform live in the Dolby Theatre.

Menzel hails from a Broadway background, and it's always a pleasure to hear her work in Disney musicals like "Enchanted" and "Frozen." The former "Wicked" and "Rent" star can bring the house down with her phenomenal vocals, so this is a don't-miss Oscars moment.
"Let It Go" is up against three other best song nominees: "Ordinary Love" from "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom," "Happy" from "Despicable Me 2" and "The Moon Song" from "Her." "Frozen" is also nominated for best animated feature film. The 2014 Oscars air on ABC on March 2.
