Is Justin Bieber turning to God or Scientology amid meltdown reports?

justin-bieber-meltdown-reports-ig.jpg Justin Bieber has been throwing tantrums, threatening paparazzi, and even collapsed during a London concert before being hospitalized and later canceling a concert in Portugal. And all of this after being busted smoking pot.

But Bieber's buddy, Seattle-based pastor and author Judah Smith says the "Beauty and a Beat" singer is turning to God amidst his struggles. "He has coping methods like turning and talking to God and practicing the ancient scriptures," Smith tells The Sun. "Justin asks, "God if you're there, I need help. I don't know what decision to make.'"

Bieber posted a photo on Instagram of Smith's book, "Jesus Is: Find a New Way to Be Human." Bieber's captions reads, "I know I already posted this but I'm gonna put it up again to show love to my big bro Judah I love u Man U inspire me.. When u have a moment of weakness ask god to be with you and bring his peace. I know for a fact it helps."

But it seems Pastor Judah isn't the only one giving Justin advice. A few days after Bieber posted the photo, the Biebs tweeted about getting some mentorship from "Men In Black 3" star and well-known Scientologist, Will Smith. "Love to big man Will Smith for the great talk yesterday. We know the truth and we must stand tall. Love u man! thanks!," writes Bieber.

Later he tweeted a link to an essay Will's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, wrote on her Facebook page about the public's "bullying" of young celebrities. "Is it okay to continually attack and criticize a famous 19 year old who is simply trying to build a life, exercise his talents while figuring out what manhood and fame is all about," Jada questions.

Judah says he and Justin exchange scriptures every day. Perhaps some positive leadership will help steer Justin back on to the right path. What do you think? Is Justin's downward spiral just part of being a teenager? Or does he need to find religion fast?
