Jay-Z is currently doing a demonstration of his take on modern art. The "Magna Carta Holy Grail" rapper is currently lip-syncing his song "Picasso Baby" at New York's Pace Gallery.

Vines, tweets and Instagrams have come out of the event and reveal that everyone from Judd Apatow to "Girls" star Adam Driver are there for what is said to be a video shoot. Performance artist Marina Abramovic appeared for one take, while rapper Wale appeared for another.

According to The Fader, this "docu-music video" is partly inspired by Abramovic's 2010 Museum of Modern Art exhibit "Marina Abramovic: The Artist is Present" in which she sat in MoMA's atrium for 736 hours total and invited anyone willing to wait to sit across from her. This is one of the "6 pieces of art" Jay-Z recently teased. People were invited to participate in hour slots of Jay-Z's performance. Check out more video from the event below.
