Jenna Dewan-Tatum almost fainted at Oscars, dodged bears in Vancouver

jenna-dewan-tatum-live-with-michael-and-kelly-october-24-gi.jpg Jenna Dewan-Tatum is not a boring woman. The "Witches of East End" actress and wife of heartthrob movie star Channing Tatum proved this when she was a guest on Thursday's (Oct. 24) episode of "Live with Kelly and Michael."

From nearly passing out at the Oscars to finding black bears in her front yard in Vancouver, Dewan-Tatum definitely had stories to tell.

The situation at the Academy Awards came up because Dewan-Tatum looked so incredible when she arrived for the interview -- as a woman who only recently gave birth to her first daughter, the actress was in rather impressive shape. Back at the Oscars, however, Jenna Dewan-Tatum was still pregnant.

Apparently, walking the red carpet isn't so much fun when six months pregnant! In addition to "Shrek-ian" swollen feet from the pressure and from high heels, Dewan-Tatum found herself getting overheated once sitting in the audience. The actress recounted how she was getting increasingly dizzy until she saw that top actresses and movie stars were all around her. "I can't do this," Dewan-Tatum recalled on "Live." "I can't be the person who passes out live at the Oscars!"

Thanks to some rest and undoing part of her dress under the table, Jenna Dewan-Tatum made it through the ceremony.

Continuing her theme of life-threatening stories, Dewan-Tatum then moved on to the time she saw a bear in her front yard during the filming of "The Witches of East End" Season 1. The show's production is in Vancouver, "where they have bears," as Dewan-Tatum put it. She even had a bear at her own house. "I look over and I'm like, 'Is that a bear?' There was a bear in my front yard of the house I was renting," the actress explained. "Just chilling, like chilling in the trees."

Should she ever encounter another, Jenna Dewan-Tatum plans to do the smart thing and run. That's a good choice.

"The Witches of East End" airs Sundays at 10 p.m. on Lifetime.
