Jenni Rivera dies: Univision reports pilots over shift limit, plane crashed previously

jenni-rivera-drivers-license.jpgThe case of the tragic death of singer Jenni Rivera continues to unfold as Univision reports the pilots who operated the plane carrying Rivera and her crew had logged more hours on their shift than commercial airline regulations allow. The company reports the pilots had more than 19 hours recorded.

It is also reported that the plane which carried the group of size to seven people had been involved in a previous accident. The NTSB incident report for the 2005 accident indicates no passengers were injured.

Rivera was confirmed dead, along with the two pilots, Rivera's publicist, her makeup artist, and her attorney. There are conflicting reports as to whether one more passenger was on board.

Jacob Yebale, Rivera's makeup artist, posted a final photo of the group to Instangram. The caption read, "We getting Back To Mexico City.....jenni Rivera ,Arturo , Gigi and Me.. Los Amooo!" Fans have expressed their grief in the comments section of the photo post.
