The former "American Idol" judge was shooting her video for the song, "Live It Up," which also features Pitbull, when the mysterious incident went down.

"Entertainment Tonight" correspondent Rob Marciano was interviewing J. Lo when the shots were fired. "Gunshots fired on Fort Lauderdale Beach DURING my JLo interview. No kidding. Security scrambled her away," Marciano tweets. As Lopez was rushed to safety, ambulance and police sirens could be heard nearby.

Marciano finally updated, "Police confirming: 'shots fired. no one hit.' Whew." Lopez' boyfriend, Casper Smart, was also on set, and was uninjured.

Police initially detained at least one bikini-clad woman but now say they have no suspects or witnesses, according to E! News. No injuries were reported.
