Fans worried about saying goodbye to the bulk of the "Real Housewives of New York" cast, find comfort in the fact that they're not exactly ready either.

Following reports that four cast members -- Jill Zarin, Cindy Barshop, Kelly Bensimon and Alex McCord -- would not make it to Season 5 of the Bravo series, Zarin has come out saying those reports are exaggerated.

A Zarin rep initially reached out to US Weekly, saying "Jill has not been fired from 'The Real Housewives of New York City.' The truth is that Jill is still in discussions with Bravo for season 5 and hasn't made a final decision about returning to the show."

The 47-year-old also appeared on CNN (embedded below) to explain that the series is still reaching out to potential new "housewives" while figuring out which cast members might return.

Three names that seem locked, however, are LuAnn De Lesseps, Romona Singer and Sonja Morgan. Neither of the three have been mentioned in any of the rumored firings.
