Johnny Depp still not dead but starting publishing imprint

So it only makes sense for the two to join forces. Yep, "The Lone Ranger" actor is starting a publishing imprint under HarperCollins, the Associated Press reports.

The imprint, which will share its name with Depp's production company, Infinitum Nihil (meaning "nothing is forever"), already has on its list Bob Dylan's "The Unraveled Tales of Bob Dylan," which is based in part on interviews with historian Douglas Brinkley and is scheduled for a 2015 release.

"I pledge, on behalf of Infinitum Nihil, that we will do our best to deliver publications worthy of peoples' time, of peoples' concern, publications that might ordinarily never have breached the parapet," Depp says in a statement released by HarperCollins. "For this dream realized, we would like to salute HarperCollins for their faith in us and look forward to a long and fruitful relationship together."

Brinkley, who wrote a cover story on Dylan for Rolling Stone in 2009, says he and Depp think Dylan's book is "the ideal way" to kick things off with Infinitum Nihil.
