Joss Stone murder plot criminals convicted of conspiracy to murder and rob
Junior Bradshaw, 32, and Kevin Liverpool, 35, were both found guilty by a jury of conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to rob after a three-week trial in the Exeter Crown Court.
In 2011, the two were reportedly heading for Stone's house in Devon, England, armed with a samurai sword, knives, bags and gloves. Notes found with them showed that they intended to decapitate the singer and dump her body in a river.
They were arrested after local residents spotted their crash-damaged car and called police, just a few miles from Stone's house. The two had been involved in a crash on the trip from their hometown of Manchester to Devon.
In Liverpool's apartment, police say they also found rambling diaries that listed other musicians, including Eminem, Beyonce, R. Kelly, Chriw Brown and band Girls Aloud.
Liverpool was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum term of 10 years, eight months. Bradshaw's sentencing hearing was adjourned, he will be sentenced at a later time.
