Julia Roberts vs. Charlize Theron: Who will make a better 'Snow White' evil queen?

julia-roberts-charlize-ther.jpg Julia Roberts is in talks to play the Evil Queen in a movie based on "Snow White." Which is not to be confused with the other "Snow White" movie that will star Charlize Theron in the Evil Queen role.

Theron is in line for the Universal movie "Snow White and the Huntsman," which is also courting Kristen Stewart and Viggo Mortensen. Roberts, meanwhile, is in negotiations for "The Brothers Grimm: Snow White," Vulture reports; Relativity Media is producing it, and Tarsem Singh ("The Cell," the upcoming "Immortals") will direct.

Both movies are reportedly on a fast track, which means you could be faced with a choice of evil queens in the theater sometime in 2012. So which Oscar winner would make a better one?

Based on their past work, we'd have to give Theron the nod (albeit just by a little). Neither actress has played evil very often, but Theron's portrayal of Aileen Wuornos in "Monster" makes us think she'd do a vengeful, vain queen with a little more edge.

How about you? Do you see Roberts or Theron in the role more? And will you be going to see either movie?
