Proceeds from the mournful guitar ballad will benefit the Salvation Army's Bethesda Centre, the charity that helped Mallette out when she got pregnant.

"[It's] about the struggles," Bieber tells MTV News of his new track. "She had me at like the age I am now. [It's about] just the struggles she went through and how brave she was, and I think the world needed to know that."

Check out some of the lyrics: "You worked two jobs/To keep a roof above our heads/You chose/A life for me no you never gave up/I admire you/ For the strength you've instilled in me." Bieber sings. "You were so young/You were just my age when you had me mom/You were so brave."

And the chorus: "So when you're lost and you're tired/When you're broken in two/Let my love take you higher/Because I still turn to you."
