Kate Gosselin opens to Dr. Drew Pinsky: 'I am lonely'

kate-gosselin-dr-drew.jpgMom of multiples/reality star Kate Gosselin sat down with Dr. Drew Pinsky on Wednesday's (Feb. 22) edition of "Dr. Drew's Lifechangers" and she admitted to Dr. Drew that despite having a house full of eight kids, she's lonely.

"No. I'm too busy," she answers when Dr. Drew asks if she has a love life. "I think a lot of my friends who are being constructive say 'gosh, who are you going to meet that is going to be able to deal with eight kids?' My answer is always if they can deal with eight kids in our situation it probably will be the person. It will sort of prove it."

"You're tough but don't you want somebody in your life?" asks Dr. Drew.

"Absolutely! The odds are so against me, one mom and eight kids ... so it would be great," she says. "I am lonely. I clean up the house, put kids to bed and there I sit. Ideally I would find that person ... I don't know if I feel ready for that."

She also talks about her ex-husband Jon Gosselin, who she grudgingly admits is doing a better job of fathering and keeping the peace these days.

"I feel like he's trying again," says Gosselin. "That's good. The bottom line is the kids come home basically happy and that's all that matters."
