MTV is doing its best to attract an American audience for its upcoming Europe Music Awards. The network announced two new talents who will be making appearances at the upcoming Nov. 10 awards show, and they're two names who audiences in the United States are quite familiar with.

First up, Katy Perry is slated to sing her new song "Unconditionally" from her upcoming album "Prism" during her performance. She is also nominated for two EMAs, including Best Female Artist.

Also making an appearance during the awards show is Will Ferrell, though he won't be attending as himself. Instead he'll be reporting in from various landmarks in Amsterdam as he portrays legendary news anchor Ron Burgundy to promote the upcoming "Anchorman" sequel "The Legend Continues.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Justin Timberlake both lead the MTV EMA nominations with five each. Also nominated are Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke and Lady Gaga.
