Katy Perry, Beyonce diss rumors put to rest on Twitter

katy-perry-beyonce-getty.jpgKaty Perry lashed out at the media Tuesday (March 20) night on Twitter about what some outlets were reporting as a diss toward Beyonce.

When discussing an upcoming duet she's planning with Rihanna, Perry told BBC Radio 1 that she knows what she wants for the track.

"I was telling [Rihanna], you know that Eurthymics song with Aretha Franklin, Annie Lennox, 'Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves'?" she said. "That's like the kind of song that I'd want to do instead of, like, 'Hips Don't Lie,' which was still a great song by Shakira and Beyonce. I mean, not 'Hips Don't Lie,' what's that duet? 'Beautiful Liar.'"

"Beautiful Liar" is Beyonce's hit collaboration with Shakira from 2007.

In response to various media reporting that Perry dissed Blue Ivy's mama, Perry took to Twitter: "F--- all y'all (press) dat thinks I dissed anyone, puhlez, u havin a slow news day or what?! Get a life, cuz it's not mine! #hoodratcominout."

Another celebrity non-feud put to rest.
