Katy Perry is steering into the skid -- almost literally -- after the first single off her upcoming album, "Prism," leaked online, and is releasing "Roar" early.

The girl-power anthem was originally scheduled to premiere on Monday (August 12), but it leaked onto the internet on Saturday (August 10). The song then saw an early release to radio stations, including Clear Channel, which will be airing it hourly, according to Billboard.

On Sunday (August 11), Perry tweeted that the track will be out on iTunes at midnight ET. "Looks like there's a tiger on the loose!!!" she wrote.

"Prism," Perry's fourth studio album, is due out Oct. 22.
