After singer Pink was forced to cancel a concert in England due to illness, many fans and critics cried foul. Pink posted an open letter on her website, aimed at those who were angry, writing that she was upset with the hate mail she was receiving for the cancellation and assumed she would receive the benefit of the doubt.
In the end, another singer jumped to Pink's defense. Kelly Clarkson sent a message to Pink May 3 through Twitter, writing, "How dare you only work 364 days this year. I can't believe you got sick. That never happens to anyone ... ever. You're so lazy." She went on to address the complainers, adding, "Seriously people. Tired of seeing everyone giving her crap. We're all human. Relax."
That same day, Pink sent a tweet or her own, reading, "In my next lifetime I hope to be perfect so as not to disappoint another human being ever. I also hope pigs fly by then. #fairweatherfriends" The singer has since recovered from her illness and resumed the tour through Europe.
