Kid Rock says he'll shoot those who make him fear for life, as burglar is arrested

A man suspected of trying to break into the home of Kid Rock has been apprehended by police in Michigan. The situation was first made public by Rock, who wrote about the attempted home invasion on his website, including stills from security cameras he has on the property.

"Thank God I was not on the property at the time of this attempted break in," he writes, "I am an avid hunter and marksman and I will not hesitate to shoot anyone who has myself or family in fear for our lives."

He also offered a $5,000 reward any information leading to the man's arrest. According to a local FOX affiliate, the suspect, a 43-year-old man, was apprehended after tips were called in. His 1994 Ford Club Wagon, which was allegedly used to force open Rock's gated driveway, was impounded.

The moral of the story? Don't try to steal from Kid Rock.
