Obsession seldom leads to good things ... but in this instance, it does give us the chance to see Daniel Radcliffe take on an American accent, so there's a silver lining.

The new theatrical trailer for "Kill Your Darlings" just hit the web, and the jarring juxtaposition of decadence and freedom to dark murder and obsession is a sight to behold. The film is based on the true, previously untold story of murder that brought together young Beat generation icon Allen Ginsberg (Radcliffe), Jack Kerouac (Jack Huston), and William Burroughs (Ben Foster) at Columbia University in 1944, providing the spark that would lead to their Beat Revolution. The true story of friendship and murder that led to the birth of an entire generation has a dark undercurrent that hits you about halfway through the trailer.
