Kim Raver joins Lifetime's 'Secret Lives of Wives' and more TV casting news

Raver will star in Lifetime's drama pilot "The Secret Lives of Wives," about four close friends and their marriages, according to the Hollywood Reporter. She joins Salli Richardson ("Eureka"), Lauren Bittner ("Paranormal Activity 3") and Amber Clayton ("Three Rivers") in the cast.

The Reporter also notes that Valerie Cruz ("Off the Map") has joined the pilot as a woman who claims she had an affair with the husband of Raver's character. Jill Gordon (Lifetime's "Five," "My So-Called Life") is writing the pilot, which is based on a book by Iris Krasnow.

In still more "Secret Lives" news, Deadline reports the pilot has cast Callum Blue ("Smallville," "Secret Diary of a Call Girl") and Derek Smith as the husbands of Bittner's and Clayton's characters.

- USA's comedy "Sirens" has found its principal cast. The Denis Leary-written and -produced show about EMTs in Chicago will star Michael Mosley ("Pan Am"), Jessica McNamee ("The Vow"), Kevin Daniels ("Modern Family") and Kevin Bigley ("Game Change"). Leary is writing and executive producing with Bob Fisher ("Wedding Crashers," "Traffic Light"). [USA]

- Titus Welliver ("Lost," "The Good Wife") has joined TNT's thriller "The Last Ship," about the crew of a Navy ship that's among the few people in the world to survive a global catastrophe. Welliver will the second in command to Eric Dane's captain. [ Deadline]

- Mark Consuelos will guest-star on a forthcoming episode of NBC's sitcom "Guys With Kids." He'll play the new nanny hired by Chris' ( Jesse Bradford) ex-wife ( Erinn Hayes), and Chris will not be happy about it. [ TVLine]

- Former "Gossip Girl" regular Jessica Szohr has booked a guest spot on TBS' "Men at Work." She'll play a friend of Amy's ( Meredith Hagner) who sparks a competition between Milo ( Danny Masterson) and Gibbs ( James Lesure). [ EW]
