Kristen Stewart apologizes to her fans for 'making them so angry'
Though this has been a great year for Kristen Stewart career-wise, the "Twilight Saga" actress isn't on the best footing with her fans. Ever since she was caught cheating on Robert Pattinson with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders, Stewart has been struggling to win back her good public image, and she knows it.
"It's not a terrible thing if you're either loved or hated," Stewart tells Newsweek. "But honestly, I don't care 'cause it doesn't keep me from doing my s**t. And I apologize to everyone for making them so angry. It was not my intention."
The media scrutiny that followed the scandal has been hard on Stewart, but she says she's striving to continue living her life as she normally would have otherwise.
"It's a little annoying having to be so compartmentalized," she says. "I go from box to box to box. Like right now, this is so crazy 'cause we're out at a restaurant. But I'm going out a lot more now. I was starting to get closed off and self-conscious, and I'm trudging forth into the world more often."
Stewart continues, "As long as people's perspective of me doesn't keep me from doing what I want to do, it doesn't matter."
