Lady Gaga's new album is titled 'ARTPOP'

Lady-Gaga-artpop-tattoo-album-pics-littlemonsters.jpgUsually when something's written in ALL CAPS, it means someone's shouting -- or your mom is posting something on Facebook ("HI HONEY! WHY IS MY COMPUTER SCREEN SO DARK?"). But everything uncool is suddenly cool now, right? Especially if you're Lady Gaga.

Mother Monster revealed the name of her next album by tweeting a picture on Friday (Aug. 3) of a new tattoo -- the word "ARTPOP" in simple black lettering on her arm -- along with the caption, "new ink new album."

And just in case we didn't get the hint, she writes on Sunday, "Make sure when writing about my new album/project ARTPOP that you CAPITALIZE the title, *it's all in the details* good morning twitter!"

On her social media site LittleMonsters.com, she reveals exactly what those details might be: "ARTPOP" could be an acronym for "Artistic Revolution Through the Potential of Pop."

In a chat with fans on her site over the weekend, the singer tries to further explain the title -- sort of.

"ARTPOP could mean anything," she says. "Pop art was a movement in the '70s that is still alive now."

What do you think "ARTPOP" means?
