Lewis Black rips Nancy Grace, media over Whitney Houston coverage

Acerbic comic Lewis Black, a periodic contributor to "The Daily Show," charred the media on Tuesday (Feb. 21) for their coverage of Whitney Houston's death. And one of his targets was HLN's Nancy Grace.

During his "Back in Black" segment, Black ripped into Grace calling her "CNN's resident hearse chaser." He then wonders what's going on in her mind when "she manages to turn the tragic accident into murder mystery dinner theater."

Grace had suggested Houston may have been the victim of foul play despite the fact that L.A. County Coroner said there was no such evidence. Grace says, "I'd like to know who was around her...and who let her slip, or pushed her, underneath that water."

Fox News anchor Eric Bolling wasn't spared either. Bolling, who has previously suggested that the movie "The Muppets" endorses an "anti-corporate" message, comments on Congresswoman Maxine Waters choice for the banking committee by saying, "You saw what happened to Whitney Houston. Step away from the crack pipe." Bolling later apologized for his comments. But Black had a few thoughts for him too.
