Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus join family at Los Angeles rock concert
The family that rocks out together stays together, and the Cyrus family is living proof of that. Liam Hemsworth got in on the action when he joined fiancé Miley Cyrus and her brother Trace to go and support sister Brandi Cyrus during a recent performance at the Troubadour in West Hollywood. Brandi's band Frank + Derol kicked off a new tour Monday, and apparently the three celebrities were very into the show.
"They watched the show from the balcony and cheered the girls on," a source tells People. So much for any rumors their relationship is on the rocks!
The Cyrus siblings didn't try to hide their pride in their sister during the performance. Trace tweeted, "My sister Brandi killed it at her show tonight! So proud of her for going on this tour! 1st show was sold out! Good sign!" Miley, on the other hand, merely tweeted a picture of the concert venue's marquee.
Musical talent is something that runs in the Cyrus family. Starting with "Achy Breaky Heart"-singing dad Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley rose to fame by being a Disney actress and pop star before rebranding her image with a new adult vibe. Trace was the former guitarist for the band Metro Station before the band broke up in 2010, and then he started a new group called Ashland HIGH. Brandi, of course, has Frank + Derol and even youngest sister Noah recorded the theme song for the 2009 animated movie "Ponyo" along with co-star Frankie Jonas.
