Liam Hemsworth had some interesting things to say about his "Hunger Games: Catching Fire" co-star Jennifer Lawrence when he appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Tuesday (Nov. 5).

"She's got no filter. She says whatever she wants, whenever she wants," Hemsworth says. "Right before action, she'll turn to me and ask me if I have sex with kangaroos. Questions like that all day long. And then they call action and she's deadpan, and I'm like, 'What are we doing here?'"

Hemsworth also revealed why he loves shooting the movies in the south. "We shot the first one in Nashville and the second in Atlanta. We've been shooting the third one in Atlanta too," Hemsworth says. "The south's great. Southern people remind me a lot of Austrailians. They like to drink beer and host barbecues."

When host Jay Leno asked Hemsworth about his childhood, he revealed an interesting fact: his own mother was his English and sex education teacher.

"It was exactly what you think it's like. You're talking about chlamydia and STIs with your mother," Hemsworth says. "It was interesting until she started talking about her own personal experiences. I took off, like, 'See ya later mom.' It got so uncomfortable that I stopped showing up to her classes. I don't know why that was allowed to happen. No one should have to be taught sex education by their mom."

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" hits theaters Nov. 22.
