Lil Wayne ejected from Heat game? Each side tells a different story
Was Lil Wayne ejected from a Heat game or wasn't he? According to the rapper, police showed up to kick him out of the Miami Heat-Los Angeles Lakers showdown simply because he was a Lakers fan.
"So I'm @ da Heat game right, rootin 4 da Lakers kuz dats my team & would u believe they got police 2 make me leave?! Wow! F#â¬k da Heat," he tweeted.
That's a bit different than the official Heat story. Spokeswoman Lorrie-Ann Diaz told USA Today that Lil Wayne wasn't kicked out but rather chose to leave.
Some fans at the game have an even more likely spin: Weezy was kicked out, but security asked him to leave because he was acting like he had a gun.
"LOL @LilTunechi saying he got kicked out #MiamiHEAT game for being a #lakers fan. Its cuz he made a gun gesture at someone. Around white ppl," Twitter user Danny Vega tweeted. "he made a gun gesture towards a fan in the crowd. That's why they made him leave."
Whatever the reason, it's worth it for the look on Weezy's face in the picture dreamteammiami posted to Instagram of him getting kicked out.
