Lindsay Lohan's 'Letterman' Top Ten fiasco booked by Michael Lohan
Shortly after announcing that Lindsay Lohan had been booked to read the "Top Ten" bit on Thursday's "The Late Show with David Letterman," reps for the show retracted their statement. CBS announced that the booking was actually made by someone who was "not authorized to make commitments on her behalf."
Leave it to Daddy Lohan to be right in the center of the debacle.
Michael tells TMZ that he signed Lindsay up for the gig with her full blessing. He says that Lindsay "knew full well" about the booking and that her reps put the kibosh on the plan.
"Anything positive that I bring into her life... [her people] try to nix it," he says.
As for the "Mean Girl" herself, she tweeted Tues. that the booking was a mystery.
"I am NOT going to be doing David Letterman, I'm not sure how this happened, but I am sorry for the confusion..." she wrote.
Oh, stage parents. Will they ever go away?
