Courteney Cox's "Friends" co-star Lisa Kudrow will make a guest appearance on the ABC comedy later this season, the network confirms. Her episode will likely air in early 2010.

Kudrow will play a dermatologist that Jules (Cox) continues seeing despite the fact that "the doctor is mean to me."

"She's the best in town at what she does, and I become addicted," Cox tells TV Guide.

The "Cougar Town" guest spot will be Kudrow's first on-screen TV gig since her HBO series "The Comeback" in 2005. Her recent movie credits include "Bandslam" and "Hotel for Dogs," and she starred in and co-created an online series called "Web Therapy." She's also an executive producer of NBC's celeb-genealogy series "Who Do You Think You Are?," which is slated for later in the season.
