Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have been big supporters of marriage equality, and during the 2014 Grammys on Sunday (Jan. 26), they're going to take their support to the next level by featuring a massive wedding during their Grammy-nominated performance of "Same Love."

Thirty-four couples -- gay and straight, of various ages and races -- will take the stage for an on-air ceremony officiated by Queen Latifah during the song, the duo's producer Lewis tells The New York Times.

The ceremony "will be, in our minds, the ultimate statement of equality, that all the couples are entitled to the same exact thing," Lewis says. The performance will be a family affair as well, as Lewis' sister Laura will marry her fiancee Alex during the ceremony.

Madonna will also join in on the performance with Macklemore, Lewis and the song's vocalist, Mary Lambert.

The 2014 Grammys will be broadcast live at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
