Marilyn Manson collapses during Canada concert - Sources claim it's just the flu
Marilyn Manson's collapse at a recent concert in Canada has fans concerned, but a source close to the singer says he's recovering well. An insider tells TMZ that a simple case of the flu caused Manson to vomit on stage and faint during an encore performance.
Manson was performing the 1996 hit "The Beautiful People" during an encore at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan's TCU Place when he "stopped singing, turned to the side... and keeled over on the stage," Billboard reports. The concert ended prematurely after four roadies carried Manson offstage.
According to TMZ's sources, Manson hadn't been feeling well all day but didn't want to cancel the concert. He reportedly wasn't taken to a hospital but has instead been resting at his hotel room. At this point, it's said that he still plans to perform at his next show in Calgary.
