Marvel considering expanding 'Agent Carter' One Shot into a TV series

According to Deadline, Marvel is considering developing a series based on the short, which features "Captain America's" Hayley Atwell fighting to prove herself in the early days of SHIELD after World War II. It's reportedly one of several potential series concepts Marvel has in the works.

The previous One Shot, "Item 47," helped lay the groundwork for "Agents of SHIELD," which premieres on ABC Tuesday (Sept. 24). It's worth noting, though, that no one who starred in "Item 47" (Lizzy Caplan, Jesse Bradford, Titus Welliver and Maximiliano Hernandez) is currently involved with the ABC series. If "Agent Carter" goes forward, Atwell wouldn't necessarily be attached to star.

What do you think of the idea of an "Agent Carter" series? Could it work without Atwell as the star, and is there room for more than one Marvel show on the air?
