Matthew Perry, Lizzy Caplan quietly end longterm relationship
Matthew Perry and Lizzy Caplan's relationship is no more. The couple, who started dating in 2006, apparently broke up in 2012 but kept their split under wraps.
A source tells Us Weekly that the breakup "happened a year and a half ago." "They haven't been together for a long time," the insider says.
Perry and Caplan kept their relationship out of headlines for years, so it's no surprise that it took so long to find out they had broken up. When the "Masters of Sex" star was recently asked about her relationship by UK's Independent newspaper, she made it clear she likes to keep her private life private.
"I can stand right next to paparazzi, and I do that sometimes," she said. "I'm close with people who are far more famous, and they know how to avoid attention."
