Mega Millions: 'Lost's' Damon Lindelof plays THE numbers

damons-lost-lottery.jpg"Lost" showrunner Damon Lindelof isn't taking any chances when it comes to the massive Mega Millions jackpot -- which is up to $640 million as of this writing. So he's playing the numbers that proved so enigmatic throughout six seasons of the show on ABC.

On Friday (March 30), Lindelof tweeted a picture of his ticket with the numbers 04 08 15 16 23 42 and the message "How could I resist?" On the show, Hurley ( Jorge Garcia) won a $114 million lottery jackpot playing the same numbers -- but they proved to be kind of cursed.

In the picture, Lindelof's ticket appears to be resting on the very computer Desmond ( Henry Ian Cusick) dutifully typed them into once an hour for years until Jack ( Matthew Fox) and co. came along and shook things up.

"Do NOT play the numbers in the Mega Millions tonight, people!" he also tweets. "They are CURSED!!! Also, I don't want to share my jackpot with you."

"It's not safe at all," Lindelof tells TMZ. "The numbers are still cursed. That being said, I'd be kicking myself for the rest of my life if they came in and I hadn't played them because I'm greedy like that."
