Megadeth sings Christmas carols on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'

Finally, the thrash metal Christmas carols everyone has been waiting for have arrived. Megadeth surprised viewers of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" with the debut of their new holiday project, "Thrashing Through the Snow."

So, all right, it was all a joke, but the band still gave their take on several holiday standards, including "Frosty the Snowman," "The Little Drummer Boy" and "Do You Hear What I Hear?" It turns out what they hear is death.

The entire bit was shot like an infomercial and even included special guest Jenny Lewis, who joined the band for "Baby, It's Cold Outside." She doesn't stick around long though, because it's just too terrifying.

Now the band just needs to make "Thrashing Through the Snow" a real thing.
