Megyn Kelly petitioned to dine on pepper spray

megyn-kelly-fox.jpgTime for Megyn Kelly to put her mouth where her mouth is.

Just days after Kelly told fellow Fox News personality Bill O'Reilly that the pepper spray used on the UC Davis protesters is essentially "a food product," an online petition has popped up asking her to test it out. The petition, organized by New York resident Nick Douglas, challenges Kelly to "eat or drink a full dose of pepper spray on national television."

It also states, "To back up your claim that pepper spray is a food product, please consume as much of it as was sprayed on each protestor's (sic) face, in one sitting, on camera at Fox News. You may mix the spray with one serving of food or drink, as I am not a sadist. Then, please relate the effects to your audience."

To date the petition has secured nearly 17,000 signatures. Here's the link to it you're interested.

It's more than unlikely that Kelly will follow the whims of the masses. Perhaps she'll just season her turkey with a dash of it.
