Michael K. Williams set to play ODB; 'Hangover 3' gets a release date

Williams, best known for his work on HBO shows "The Wire" and "Boardwalk Empire," is taking on the role of late Wu-Tang Clan member ODB in the movie "Dirty White Boy." The film will chronicle the rapper's (real name Russell Jones) unlikely comeback -- a feat engineered by a 22-year-old VH1 production assistant who talked his way into managing the rapper. [ EW]

The Wolfpack is Back: "The Hangover Part III" will hit theaters on May 24, 2013. Stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis will all reunite for the franchise's third installment and attempt to clean up at the Memorial Day box office. The movie's first two installments have grossed more than $1 billion worldwide. [ E!]

Ladies first: "Modern Family's" Sofia Vergara and Sharon Stone will reportedly play bisexual lovers in the upcoming film "Fading Gigolo." In the comedy, John Turturro plays an older guy in need of cash who decides to become a gigolo to make some bucks. Oy. [ Extra TV]

Hungry for Tickets: On Thursday (March 21), Fandango was selling 10 tickets per second to "The Hunger Games" and has already sold out more than 2,500 show times for the movie, which opens at midnight. Some theaters are scrambling to add 3 a.m. Friday screenings to keep pace with demand. The movie is expected to surpass 2010's "Alice in Wonderland's" $116 million to set the opening-weekend box office record for a March release. [ NY Times]
