missing-sean-bean-abc-deon-meyer-devils-peak-game-of-thronesWell, if "Missing" and "Game of Thrones" star Sean Bean is signing on for a film trilogy, it means they can't kill him off right away like every other show does! According to Deadline, Bean is going to be a part of three films based on South African novelist Deon Meyer's "Devil's Peak" trilogy.

The books are about Benny Griessel, a Cape Town detective in the Serious and Violent Crimes Unit. Bean will play Griessel, a man with serious issues including being a recovering alcoholic. The first book "Devil's Peak" appeared in 2004. The second, "Thirteen Hours" in 2009 and "7 Days" in 2011.

Have you guys read the novels? What did you think? Is Sean Bean the perfect fit for Benny Griessel? Are you watching him on "Missing" and what could this mean for a season 2? There were some huge twists in the past episode. We can't wait to see what's coming. "Missing" airs Thursday nights on ABC.
