MTV Movie Awards viewer voting begins: Taylor Lautner, JT vying for Best Line
Unfortunately, it's not the final list yet as we've still got some time before the show airs (June 5), but the first round of voting, to get your favorite movie/actor/actress into the big fight, has just opened.
The usual suspects are all there: "Eclipse" and "Harry Potter," as well as some Oscar favorites, like "Black Swan" and "The Social Network."
Get ready for a new category that is sure to become a fan favorite: Best Line From A Movie.
The category isn't an entirely new idea for the Awards show -- they used to have Best Line -- which went to Robert DeNiro in "Meet The Parents" ("Are you a pothead, Focker?") and Reese Witherspoon in "Legally Blonde." ("Oh, I like your outfit too, except when I dress up as a frigid b---h, I try to not to look so constipated.")
Who could possibly make the final list of nominees for the new category? Taylor Lautner ("Let's face it, I'm hotter than you.") and Justin Timberlake ("A million dollars isn't cool. You know what's cool? A billion dollars.")
To vote for your favorite movie (or line) to make the final list of nominees, vote at MovieAwards.MTV.com. Voting will stay open through Apr. 5 and another round of voting will open on May 3 after the final nominees are announced.
The MTV Movie Awards air live on Sunday, June 5, at 9 pm ET, and will be followed by the series premiere of MTV's new original show "Teen Wolf."
