MTV's 'Jerks With Cameras': Making it unsafe to go outside in public
Lock your doors, draw the shades, and hide inside forever ... because MTV's newest reality series is making it unsafe to go outside in public ever again.
The network announced a new half-hour comedy series, "Jerks With Cameras," on Thursday (Dec. 19), and it's exactly what it sounds like. This fast-paced prank show features a team of eight comedians, endearingly called The Jerks, who will take to the streets to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting public -- sorry they're not sorry.
"Jerks With Cameras" will use both hidden and unhidden cameras to capture the reactions of their victims to reinvent the prank show format. As if that isn't humiliating enough, host Tone Bell will review all the pranks and share laughs with a live audience. Public humiliation, yay!
But wait, there's more: the "battle for Jerk supremacy" begins with the ultimate jerk competition -- The Jerk-Off (no, we're not making this up, we promise). All the Jerks will present the same prank, and the audience will get to decide who did it best -- based on their victims' reactions, most likely. The Jerk with the most outrageous, clever, and hilarious execution of the prank walks away with the ultimate prize: "Jerk bragging rights."
Because nothing says "I'm the best" than calling yourself the ultimate Jerk, right?
"Jerks With Cameras" premieres Thursday, Jan. 16 at 10:30 p.m. ET on MTV.
