NFL QB Cam Newton returning to Auburn to finish his degree in the off season

But now his studies are going to take focus, in the off season at least.

Gus Malzahn, Newton's offensive coordinator at Auburn, writes on Twitter, "Happy to see my man Cam back at AU this semester working toward his degree. #wareagle."

Auburn's university paper, the War Eagle Reader, reports that the university will not be releasing any kind of official statement about Newton's return, but the paper does have pictures of him in class.
