Nik Wallenda Grand Canyon walk live stream

nik-wallenda-grand-canyon-live-stream.jpgNik Wallenda, part of the famous Wallenda family of high-wire walkers, will attempt a death-defying stunt Sunday evening, live on the Discovery Channel, when he walks on a two-inch wire high above the Colorado River -- watch the live stream here.

Wallenda will actualy be traversing the gorge of the Little Colorado River in the Navajo Tribal Park in Cameron, Ariz. It's not actually the Grand Canyon -- the show couldn't get permission to have the walk there.

Still, the walk is still 1500 feet in the air (higher than the Empire State Building) and the gap he is crossing is 1400 feet across. There could be crosswinds of up to 30 mph, so here's hoping that all goes as planned for Mr. Wallenda.
