'Nikita' Season 3 premiere: What to expect from the new Division

nikita-season-3-premiere.jpgDivision is a very different place now that Ryan and Nikita are in charge in Season 3 of "Nikita." If you haven't been watching the CW spy show, it's okay -- the Season 3 premiere (airing Friday, Oct. 19 at 9 p.m.) is a reboot of sorts.

Nikita, who had once been a rogue agent trying to take down the top-secret agency she was once a part of, is back -- and helping to run the place. The conflict this year comes in the form of the "Dirty Thirty," the Division agents who didn't come back when the regime changed and they were supposed to return to HQ.

Now, the new leadership -- which includes Maggie Q's badass spy, CIA brass Ryan ( Noah Bean), former Division rookie trainer/Nikita's paramour Michael ( Shane West), Nikita's protege Alex ( Lyndsy Fonseca) and tech guru Birkhoff ( Aaron Stanford) -- is trying to track down those 30 agents so they can't cause any more trouble.

Here are four things you can expect from the thrilling premiere:

1. Mikita moments, and lots of 'em. Fans have been rooting for the relationship between Nikita and Michael for a while, and they'll have plenty to cheer about in the season opener. Trust us.

2. Amanda is still causing trouble. You'll find out that even though the master manipulator/former Division head isn't in the premiere, she's still messing everything up for the new guys in charge.

3. Just because the good guys are in charge of Division now doesn't mean it's on the up-and-up. The stakes are still extremely high during every mission.

4. Alex will have a little trouble going undercover now that she's a famous heiress.
But don't worry -- she'll still find a way to participate in the missions.

"Nikita" airs Fridays at 9 p.m. on The CW. Are you excited for Nikita's return?
