Orlando Bloom told, 'Lot of fish in the sea' by Stephen Colbert

Orlando Bloom stopped by "The Colbert Report" Monday (Oct. 28), where host Stephen Colbert talked to the actor about his recent project, appearing as Romeo on Broadway, and actually vocalized how they were going to avoid the topic of his recent split from Miranda Kerr.

"There's an elephant in the room," says Colbert. "We don't have to talk about it. You wanna talk about it, you let me know. All I want to say is, there's a lot of fish in the sea. You're a good-looking guy, let's move on."

Yes, something tells us Orlando Bloom will not have any trouble finding a new special lady friend.

As for the "Hobbit" movies, Colbert wants to know if Bloom has a romance with Evangeline Lilly's character. He says, "It's a very profound, unspoken thing" and likens it to "Romeo & Juliet," saying Lilly's elf is the "girl from the wrong side of the river."

"The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" opens nationwide Dec. 13.
