Oscar De La Rosa , the lead singer of Tejano group La Mafia, was attacked in Houston recently. Reports say he suffered head wounds and was knocked unconscious, and that the attack was unprovoked.

According to the Associated Press, no arrests have been made at this time. La Mafia co-founder Armando Lichtenberger Jr. says that De La Rosa and his driver were outside a Houston club when a man they didn't recognize targeted them early May 13. De La Rosa suffered from two lost teeth, eye damage and facial cuts.

Houston police are on the hunt for the man who attacked them. Meanwhile, De La Rosa is said to be resting in his Houston home. It's unclear if La Mafia will have to cancel upcoming performances while he recovers.
