'Parks and Rec's' Chris Pratt on stripping: 'I was the low-rent 'Magic Mike''
"The Ellen DeGeneres Show" is welcoming "Parks and Recreation" star Chris Pratt on Friday (Nov. 15), where Pratt talks about his past working as a stripper and having more kids with wife Anna Faris of CBS sitcom "Mom."
"When I was a kid, I was in a small town -- I was a stripper for a little while, for a little while. It's not, it was very low-rent. I was like the very, very low-rent 'Magic Mike,'" says Pratt. "40 bucks a pop ... I did bachelorette parties in my hometown, my friend's grandma had me."
"I couldn't afford a cop outfit on my budget. I would just wear, um, I wasn't good. I would just like slowly, awkwardly dance and then go down to my shorts and they'd be like, 'Aww. Aww. ... Here's your forty bucks.'"
Pratt also talks about having another child with Faris, which came to him in a dream recently.
"This is a true story about a dream. I did dream the other day that we had another baby. And then I woke up and Anna said that she had had a dream that she was pregnant," says Pratt. "So I was like, 'Whoa, might you be pregnant?'"
"I don't think she is. This isn't like an announcement or anything," he laughs. "[But] I think I would like one."
Ellen cracks, "Announce it and then she feels like she has to get pregnant."
"You got nine months, honey," Pratt deadpans.
Watch Pratt every Thursday night on "Parks and Rec" on NBC and see him in the upcoming movie "Delivery Man," out Nov. 22 nationwide.
