Paula Abdul's 911 call: Not the best Valentine's Day ever

paula-abdul-gi.jpg Paula Abdul's Valentine's Day was perhaps not the most romantic in the world. Days that include 911 calls rarely are.

Abdul dialed 911 on the afternoon on Feb. 14 after getting into an argument with a boyfriend. According to a tape of the call obtained by TMZ, a crying Abdul tells the operator, "I want to go, and he won't let me!"

She adds, "Are you gonna drop me off 'cause I have emergency on the phone." Apparently the man did, because second later Abdul says, "He's dropping me off."

The former "American Idol" judge and "Live to Dance" judge/producer made the call about 4:30 p.m. PT on V-Day as she and the man (who wasn't identified) were driving near Santa Barbara, Calif. Police checked on her that evening and she chose not to file a police report, saying she and the guy had just been arguing.

"Arguments with loved ones are often times heated," her spokesperson tells TMZ. "After the call was made everything was worked out."
