Phillip Phillips' debut album 'The World From the Side of the Moon' hitting stores in November

phillip-phillips-album-cover.jpg"American Idol" Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips has finally revealed the title, cover and release date for his debut album. "The World From the Side of the Moon" will hit stores November 19, the singer-songwriter announced on his Twitter.

"Hey guys, this my official album cover/title! Hope you like it and my album will be released 11-19!" tweets the singer, along with the cover image.

Phillips' coronation single, "Home," has enjoyed great success since its release in May. NBC played it frequently during the 2012 London Summer Olympics, and it's been heard in plenty of movie trailers and commercials.

Although Phillips has said his sound isn't exactly the Mumford & Sons-esque style of "Home," the Dave Matthews-inspired musician surely has some gems up his sleeve for the album.

"Idol" head Nigel Lythgoe endorses the disc, tweeting from Season 11's Oklahoma City auditions that the crew had been jamming to some new tracks. "Lunchtime in OKC. We heard a couple of great kids this morning. We're now listening to Phillip Phillips album tracks. Love 'Can't Go Wrong,'" tweets Lythgoe.
