Pilots: Jamie Foxx goes to FOX; 'FlashForward' star gets comedic

jamie-foxx-gi-320.jpgOscar winner Jamie Foxx will try his hand at the small screen again.

The "In Living Color" alum and star of "The Jamie Foxx Show" is teaming up with "MadTV" creators Fax Bahr and Adam Small for comedy sketch comedy pilot, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Foxx won't necessarily be in front of the cameras though. Affion Crockett of "Wild 'N Out" is attached to star. He's known for his impersonations of Chris Brown, Kanye West and Russell Simmons.

"The Boondocks" producer Carl Jones will co-produce alongside Crockett, a producer. Small, Bahr, Jones and Crockett are writing.

 - Christine Woods, who plays FBI agent Janis Hawk on ABC's "FlashForward," has joined the NBC comedy pilot "Perfect Couples" in the female lead. Woods' character Julia will be happily married to Dave (TBA), and they need to find some time alone to celebrate their anniversary. The project revolves around three couples.
 - Jason Wiles joins Katee Sackhoff and Goran Visnjic for the ABC pilot "Boston's Finest," about ex-cop Angus (Visnjic) who's been disgraced and teams up with a detective (Sackhoff). Wiles will join the little triangle as Julia's boyfriend.
 - FOX's "Wilde Kingdom" is adding Jayne Houdyshell, Joe Nunez and Stefania Owen. The comedy centers on Steven (Will Arnett), a Beverly Hills jerk who falls for altruistic tree hugger Emmy (Keri Russell), who disapproves of his lifestyle. Nunez will play Steven's friend, Houdyshell will play Steven's former nanny and current head of security, while Owen will play Emmy's daughter.
 - Vinnie Jones has joined NBC's pilot "The Cape" for a guest-starring run.
 - Gabriel Morales will take part in ABC's comedy "It Takes a Village."
 - The CW had it's share of pilot casting: Tessa Thompson to "Betwixt"; Amber Seyer to the Wyoming project; Gabriella Wright to "Nomads" and Matt Barr to "Hellcats."
 - "Glory Daze" over at TBS has added "Meet the Fockers" star Teri Polo as an English professor in the fraternity comedy.
