Pippa Middleton may sue over parody Twitter account

When Pippa Middleton, sister of Kate Middleton, released a book on party-planning, it received no end of criticism for, well, not being very good. Many of Pippa's party tips consisted of things everyone already knew, like telling scary stories in the dark with only a flashlight. Terrifying.

One successful mocking of the book came in the form of a Twitter account called "Pippa Tips." It features useful messages like "finish typing before pressing send on a tweet" and "stay cool in warmer weather by wearing fewer layers."

The account gained over 50,000 followers and even landed a book deal. "When One is Expecting: A Posh Person's Guide to Pregnancy and Parenting" released June 13 and answered such questions as "Does nesting mean I have to live in a tree?"

It seems Pippa is not amused with the book, or the authors behind it. According to the Independent, her lawyers have reportedly sent a letter to the book's publisher, demanding that the "Pippa Tips" Twitter account be deactivated.

However, the account has been dormant since June 14, one day after the book was released. It's also noted in the user profile that the account is "clearly a parody." Neither side is commenting on the matter.

With the royal baby nearly here, maybe Pippa should grab a copy of the book and see what advice it gives about becoming an aunt.
