'Pretty Little Liars' UK: Lucy Hale's 'tramp stamp,' Shay Mitchell's 'faking'
Thursday (Oct. 21) is the United Kingdom premiere of "Pretty Little Liars." The ad campaign for the show started and we must say, we are jealous of their creepy promos (first video below). A source at "Pretty Little Liars" tells us they were not easy to shoot.
On our most recent set visit to Rosewood, Zap2it just had to find out from the girls if they've gotten any kind of response from their UK fans and what they think of their assigned words in the promo.
"Unreal," says Lucy Hale. "I was just checking my Twitter upstairs and they were tweeting like up to the minute before it aired ... It's just awesome. Airing overseas, it's unreal."
As for her word, Lucy busts out with, "The tramp stamp, literally! The tramp stamp! I just thought of that! ... That's a pretty harsh word."
Ashley Benson echoes her sentiments about the UK excitement.
"We all just saw the UK promos this week, they're amazing," she says. "They're dark, they're edgy. Everyone over there is so amazing. A lot of them have watched it on Hulu and they're still tuning in because they can't get enough of it. I can't wait for their feedback."
Shay Mitchell thinks her promo word, "fake," is apropos.
" I think it might be well-suited for Emily, because at the beginning she isn't being true to herself, hence 'faking' who she really is," Mitchell tells us.
And Troian Bellisario thinks she got off easy. "Mine was 'cheat' ... Spencer has so many other vices than stealing a paper. She kinda got off easy with that one."
Welcome to "Pretty Little Liars," UK fans!
