'Revenge' Season 2 wedding details, plus Daniel's arrest and the return of Lydia

revenge-daniel-arrest.jpg"Revenge" fans have been at the edge of their seats for nearly two weeks, awaiting answers about just what went down on that beach before Tyler's body was discovered. Luckily, we won't have to wait long. Executive producer Mike Kelley tells our friends at E! that in this week's episode, the events that transpired at the Fire & Ice engagement ball will be revealed.

"You will have all the answers to all your questions in 16, which is the episode after the party on the beach," he says. The murder trial will put both Daniel ( Josh Bowman) and Jack ( Nick Wechsler) under major scrutiny -- which explains the photos of a weary-looking Daniel being arrested.

Don't expect the trial to drag on until the end of the season, though, as Kelley is eager to put the beach behind him. "We're getting away from the murder on the beach, and by the time we get to the end of the season we're going to be in the larger mythology," Kelley explains.

revenge-miranda-arrest.jpgWhat we won't learn until the end of the season is what happened to Amanda ( Margarita Livieva) after she got a ride away from the crime scene with Takeda ( Hiroyuki Sanada).

Around episode 18, summer in the Hamptons will end, and we'll move forward into the off-season -- meaning that as we approach spring in reality, it'll be holiday time for the Hamptons crew. We can also expect an upcoming flashback to 2003, when Emily ( Emily VanCamp) attended that soiree as a server -- and unintentionally wound up in the photograph that stirred up so much trouble early in the season. We'll revisit Lydia ( Amber Valletta) then. "You will see her in the present coming up as well," adds Kelley.

Our favorite bit of scoop from the interview? Kelley reveals that Season 2 will begin with Emily's wedding! That doesn't necessarily mean that Emily's engagement to Daniel runs smoothly, though. In the Season 2 premiere, we won't see who her intended groom is. In fact, we won't find out until midway through the season, just like this year, we didn't learn the identity of the body on the beach.

Season 3 will feature a similar non-linear storytelling style, beginning with a funeral and not revealing the contents of the coffin until the second half of the season.

We love it.
